How to Fix Wordpress Admin login Error on localhost Wamp server

Recently when I was creating a tutorial on how to install wordpress on localhost I encountered this error.

In this error after creating the configuration file and putting your site title, admin username password details instead of taking to the wordpress successful installation page it shows a blank page url c:/localhost/wordpress/wp..../install2.php and then if you refresh it, you will get the message wordpress is already installed and prompt you to login but if you try to login it will give wrong username or password error.

How to Fix this error ?

To fix this error you will have to go the http://localhost/phpmyadmin/

Select the database you created (click on it) now you will all the tables in that database.

Select all the table there is option at the bottom of the table to 'Check all'

Now use the Drop button from the drop down menu. This will clear all the login details from your database.

Now go again to localhost/wordpress and again fill you site title ,admin username password and email.

Now you will get the wordpress successful installation message.

If my tutorial helped you please add me on google plus and spend few seconds on sharing this post with your friends on forums and social networks
